Disaster Recovery Solution Exclusive for ZFS NAS.With Linux and ZFS, QuTS hero supports advanced data reduction technologies for further driving down costs and increasing reliablility of SSD (all-flash) storage. QuTS hero is the operating system for high-end and enterprise QNAP NAS models. WIth Linux and ext4, QTS enables reliable storage for everyone with versatile value-added features and apps, such as snapshots, Plex media servers, and easy access of your personal cloud. I’m gonna put a memo on that if this happens again.QTS is the operating system for entry- and mid-level QNAP NAS. Sorry for everything and thank you so much for all the help. It was that QNAP have blocked the IP for some reason and I completely forgot to check the list.Ĭontrol Panel - Security - Allow/Deny list - Deny connections from the list For shits and giggles you could also try assigning a different IP to your apple TV and plugging it into another port. Does your QNAP have any sort of IP blocking or security software installed? It’s seems like the traffic is hitting a firewall and getting dropped.

It could possibly be some sort of incompatibility with SMB protocol usage however you should get some sort of response on your QNAP… like a NACK or another error message. No ACK response is received from the QNAP so it keeps retransmitting the request. If you open the pcap file and sort by destination you’ll see the request created for ports 127 and 445. In my experience this usually indicates a bad cable or bad switch port however i’m not seeing any ACKS going anywhere else. I’m seeing a bunch of TCP retransmission failures. Thanks (I will upgrade the QNAP device today to the latest version). I have an antivirus running from time to time and it doesn’t detect anything. How I would have a malware in my device if I don’t execute anything on him, and I can use my admin user anywhere except in Apple TV/iOS? I can connected using using wired or wireless with my computers with any user I have created in my qnap (only the Apple TV or iOS device can’t connected them) Yes I check your attachment pictures and I have everything the same as yours. If that doesn’t work then you may have malware on your QNAP device (that’s why I asked if you’re using a web server). So to keep things simple I would login to the QNAP device from the ATV using the admin credentials. You may have created a different user account for your ATV with insufficient permissions/using the incorrect password. You stated other clients are able to access your QNAP device via SMB, are you trying to login as the same user on ATV (admin etc). Did you check your permissions for the different users on your QNAP device? Please view the shared folder permission attachment in my previous post. No, I got the error (An Error occurred - sorry, infuse encountered an error while trying to connect"ĭid you upgrade from another QNAP device? (used the same hard drives)įor now the solution was to use the Webdav instead SMB When you deleted the saved shares on your ATV, were you able to successfully login to the QNAP device after recreating the share? This is how I got all the switch ports setup (it’s the default) Yes it support Jumbo frames (I need to dig where is the setting but I remember that I already see it) on that part it’s in the default setting (I need to check what it is) What is your QNAP device connected to? (switch/router) Does that device support jumbo frames?Īll my wired devices are connected into a Dell Switch - PowerConnect 5324 IOS I always got this issue I couldn’t connect using SMB (it was reported in version 5) Qnap was with the same firmware when the Infuse 6 was out I only decided to upgrade after the issue appears.
